Doipey, if they want to cut back on waste, sell Parliament House.
I never looked at PH as an asset, more of an expensive noisy mass of overblown egos and concrete.
But who'd buy it and for what purpose?
Answer: sell it to the Chinese as their Australian Embassy! I know it would be a bit small with all their intelligence staff and equipment but it would represent just how important China is to us.
Parliament can resume in old PH. Make the seating more squeezier and retile the PM's private shower and there you go.
