I admit that I am a fan of gas in preference to oil. Hence why I am invested in more gas companies, and heavier, than in oil ones. Gas Companies made me a lot of money in the past.
If anyone took any notice of when BPT sold their share of their gas tenements to AOE, their sp nosedived and it never recovered. As a matter of fact, it has been lingering at current levels ever since. IMHO, the oil companies that will get a sharp raise/improvement in their sp, are the ones that will find a well that is pumping at around the 10k barrels of oil per day. And although there are some out there that can and will achieve that, they are few and far in between. The BP well that exploded in the Gulf of Mexico casuing all that mess, was one such well. If the price of crude happen to go back to those prohibitive levels things may change. But I believe that this will not happen. Gas would become the priority then.
