It will be interesting to see if SSN bids at the auction or if they already have a deal in place.

If you read the article, from what I make of it TB may already be close to a deal, whether or not it will be through the auction system to obtain the leases time will tell.

Knowing TB im confident he will source the best possible leases at the right price, he did say there was ample land for sale by private companies in the Bakken.
