if you are the management of bal will you release something positive 10 days after a terrible ann wipped off more than 40% mktcap, $500m? because if you do so then the previous ann became inaccurate, inrresponsible and everyone's lost in the last 10 days is on you, and for sure a huge fine will be issued from asic and even triggers criminal invesgigation imo. so if i am the management, i will issue soemthing equally bad but with more details to makes 1) i didnt do anything wrong and 2) rebuild confidence of share holders that the sp wil raise again. but of cause this assumptionis based on there is no real worse issue.
