These also get played by the big boys. If shorters are in control they will place there own big buys at say 11.20, giving the illusion of large support. When price decends towards 11.20 but does not break it brings buyers in thinking its going back up. Shorters play these higher pips to cover the next big dump, forcing it back to 11.20 selling to themselves with a net profit. And then it repeats but 10c, or 20c lower.
