    IMO because that upper gap (or around that price) matches the fundamentals (strips out all future potential, brings it to fair/attractive value, and de-risks the entry provided there won't be any mishaps).

    But the lower one does not reflect the fundamentals (it's something like a crash scenario, and so is not going to be in play).
