Long-term holders shouldn't care about daily/monthly trading. Look at the company performance once a quarter or once a year, or on a major update or market shift, and re-evaluate your financial position.
Long-term used to mean 1 year, 5 years, 10 years. These days it seems to mean "from one announcement to the next"
