With the company making a lot in revenues, very profitable, earnings growing, dollar depreciating, and the market not recognising the value proposition, I’m wondering if BAL may ever think of going private. Going private at this time could be highly strategic, what do you all think? Valuations is too cheap on simple discounted future earnings.
Realist again after laying foundation to annihilate overseas brand baby food. It has the platform already to do it, just more effective market penetration. Private equity market in Hongkong could have enough money in cash lying around being eroded away by inflation and the dollar is cheap. Even the US has the same problem I heard. Too much cash eroding away.
Go private, raise capital privately and come out super strong on the other side. Perhaps this idea could be explored at the AGM if enough people ask for it.
