AMP are solvent.
The capital raising is to help them remain solvent.
The paper issued has the same risks as any share.
They can survive, but the consensus seems to be a takeover possibly by a big bank.
And for what it is worth I think the share price will fall to about $4.50 over the next few weeks and then recover to about $6 where it will remain for a long time or untill taken over.
