Both the ABC's Kerry O'Brien and Lateline's Phillip Adams are shameless lefties becoming ever more biased, piling it on,as the election grows nearer.Sure they are intelligent. They are also a long established political cliche.
KOB's 7.30 report tonight (27/7)concentrated heavily on a thinly disguised "commercial" for Conroy's NBN.It was all about "benefits" and nothing about "costs". Any mention of "cost /benefit" ratio would probably make Kerry choke. There is also the question of that other Labour "no no" namely "Supply (of money to print)and actual Demand.
Demand I understand is untested. We are simply to believe that we want NBN.The question of White Elephants does not arise.
Am no IT expert but most of my business pals including some "professionals" seem to be doing just fine, with what is available right now and will be in the future regardless of the NBN.
Once again, as with the Nauru refugee question,it seems to be for Labour more a question of"loss of face" than any objective assessment or commercial reality.
