Antivaxxers want to discredit the need to have a vaccine. If there is a treatment you don't need a vaccine, therefore all vaccines should be used.

Foreign troll farms want people to be distrustful of authority, rely on unproven treatments and cause political
instability.

People on the side saying it is a cure will just quote the reverse as their justification.
