balanced portfolio includes 3 classes assets

which are property, stocks and cash....the old fashioned way was to have a third of each...idea stemmed from the fact that all 3 work in different cycles.....not all going up or down at the same time...

I have the 3 asset mix but not in in that proportion....

its a most interesting time....to review all 3
....cash has been king but now going down with the rates, property has been fairly stable in most areas with drops in specific areas, and stocks have come off the all time highs with a drop of around 40%....

the current turmoil in the financial markets will need to be addressed asap....with the bank guarantee creating a greater mess instead of fixing a problem.....

I am hoping interest rates will come down....it might help to save jobs in small and medium businesses....

an extra glass of the good stuff is needed every now and again....to help forget all the bad
