I just wanted to create a thread that keeps track of certain risks to our beloved GXY. It's all fun and games to spruik and have positive posts all day long, even I get swept up in the craze. I want this thread to contain balanced views and certain red flags so that we mitigate risk of losing capital.
Risks that have come across my radar, not an exhaustive list:
- emergence of more efficient tech
- competitors
- government/political risk in Argentina
- poor execution by management - have yet to see under Anthony's tenure luckily
- possibility of failure of merger - also unlikely given @airconditioner views, that's for that
- loss of traction of the EV movement
Please add more and expand as you see fit.
Hopefully this thread creates some thoughtful thinking that isn't just fairy dust.
