heres my view..
(had to drag it out of moderated posts... too many rude words in the thread)
okely dokely then...
just a few snips from some reports.. for your reference..
To date natural gas shows have been intersected in four separate zones in the well, in the Elephant
Canyon Formation, at 6552 feet (1997m), 6576 feet (2004m), 6612 feet (2015m) and 6740 feet
(2054m), in sandstone capped by salt, immediately overlying the Pennsylvanian Honaker Trail Formation, a secondary target section for the well.
then...
A 112 foot (34 m) section with minor gas shows was encountered from 7,210 feet to 7,322 feet (2198 – 2232 m), within sandstone and conglomerate of the Elephant Canyon Formation.
The gas shows are considered highly significant, and together with those previously reported, are indicative of the potential within the underlying Honaker Trail Formation.
Drilling
and well.. keep going... keep going..
GAS ZONE AT UPPER ISMAY (9,742’-9746’) TO BE ASSESSED AT CONCLUSION OF WELL
The gas zone intersected from 9,742’ to 9746’ feet continues to bleed gas into the well,
with increased levels of connection and trip gas. Connection gas initially peaked at 3,120
units (30%) with C1 (methane) and C2 (ethane) recorded.
do you need more evidence?
The well is at 11,480 feet (3,499 m) in the first major objective of the well, the Barker Creek member of the Pennsylvanian Paradox Formation A 40 foot thick sandstone unit, with the top 16’ gas-bearing marks the top of the Barker Creek member (11,016 feet).
well.. you get the drift dont you..
