    Morning,

What is all the fuss about?

Are we as a nation going to miss the valuable input of lives of a few people who were stupid enough to transport drugs to a foreign country knowing it was illegal and knowing it was a capital offense?

    Arrh, highly unlikely.

Sure, one of them might turn into a valuable contributor to our society - but, the chances are more than unlikely and the cost of the benefit of the doubt will probably be high.

I do not agree with capital punishment - but, other societies do - and in most cases make it well known.

Why should we force our beliefs on another nation?

We expect foreign citizens who visit us to be fully aware of our laws and to comply with them - or suffer the consequences - our consequences.

Let us show foreign nations the same respect.

If people are old enough to 'knowingly' perform as drug mules then they are old enough to respect the law and suffer the consequences of breaking it.

Choice is often a simple matter - whether you are 6 or 60.

So, what is the fuss about? It is merely about our beliefs on taking a life as punishment - our beliefs, not someone else's.

If we really believe our kiddies are that innocent, naive and stupid --- keep them at home.

    Have a great day all

    Pinto
