bali bombers scared to die, page-4

I wonder how this Lee guy will feel 'after' the execution? I'm not being moralistic about his wish to see them die......I think it's quite expected that most of the victims and their friends and relatives would feel that way. But I would be genuinely interested to know how he does feel after the execution.

Personally, I don't agree with the death penalty.

I went to hear that nun from the US (can't think of her name) who works with prisoners on death row talk about the topic one night at Brisbane's City Hall. She talked at length about the reaction that many families of victims have to the execution.

She was speaking from experience, and said that many expect to get closure from the death of the murderer, but find that it doesn't give closure at all.

Anyway, I hope this Lee guy and his family and friends find peace with it all. It's quite amazing to read how things like this affect everyday moments......grief is such a strong and at times, debilitating, thing.
