Well all I can say is it is very stupid of the parents to have done any deals with the Media whilst the boy is still before the court.

If and when he is freed and back in Australia then I would have no opinion.

But to now turn this into a media circus runs the very real risk that he could receive a much harsher sentence.

I cannot understand how any parent could willingly take that sort of risk with their own child like that.
