How do you think the Indonesian authorities will view this pre-sentencing once they get wind of this?

Reminds me of the movie "Dumb & Dumber".

What the boy did was Dumb.
What the parents are planning is even Dumber.

Hard to believe.

Oh well, they will know the outcome next Friday and whether the risk of "Grab for cash" was worth it.

Then of course there will be the "Profiting from crime" issue.
