Over 200 million people and they need some girl from the Gold Coast to smuggle drugs in! Drugs that would bring a better price with much less risk if traded in Australia.

Yes its possible that she was a drug courier and if so one of dumbest ones in history. Why not mail it and have the buyer pick it up?
If they don’t adequately scan personal luggage why would the risk be any greater with air freight.

At least with the Bali Nine the direction made sense along with the fact that they had it strapped to their person.

No prior conviction for Drug use, no finger printing, they don’t even seem to have clue were it came from; all they have is a bag of dope in a bag with her name on it.

I think it’s reasonable that the prosecution should be required to provide a convincing case that the intent was to break the law.
