Can't believe it has taken this long for the sentence to be carried out. Surely making people wait counts as cruel and unusual punishment? As for sympathy - nothing.

It's just an indication of how sick our society is when people feel sorry for convicted felons but have no sympathy for the plight of groups or individuals in our society who need help through no fault of their own, or disregard the victims, or possible victims, of crimes.

It's bleeding hearts and the "theres-good-in-everyone" brigade that constantly twists situations like this, trying to manipulate the rest of us into feeling sorry for people like these. Stupid social media (the one thing I agree with Tony Abbot on is that crap like twitter is little more than digital graffiti) campaigns (#saveourfilthydrugdealers anyone?) and media space given over to militant libertines does nothing to enhance the health of our society. As a matter of fact, this permissiveness leads to the incremental destruction of what most would call societal values.

These people don't deserve our sympathy. You make a choice, deal with it. I'm sure if they had have gotten way with it and netted a few million from their enterprise the same weak willed apologists who are sliming the media landscape calling for clemency would be up in arms at the fact these guys were living the high life at the expense of the rest of us.

Absolutely no sympathy and none deserved.
