culprits have not yet been identified. So keep an open mind.
US is not holier than the Pope and their past & present foreign policy is also to be blamed to some extent for current events. This does not mean I condone any terrorist activity. US created their own monsters like OBL & Saddam Hussein, armed them when it suited them and now paying a price. These past events had nothing to do with Australia.
personally, I am unhappy with the way Australia is getting dragged into this US led war on terrorism. Australia's defence capabilities, compared to Indonesia and China are limited. We are an insignificant player in International affairs - ask any one in Asia or Europe - and yet we are sticking our neck out for nothing.
Why jump into shark infested waters ? Why can we not have an opinion of our own as a nation, rather than follow the Yanks like a slave ??
