I have no sympathy for drug peddlers but Indonesia has done themselves harm by their procrastination. These two men have become "real", they have done paintings, they have done good work within prison, they have repented. All of this would have been prevented had they had the backbone to carry out the sentence "in short order".
This "teasing" on the actual execution date after ten years with the sword of Damocles hanging over their heads is the barbarism we have grown to expect.
My only thought on Schapell is that she served longer than bomb makers. But only an idiot expects western justice in a backward nation.
