IMO, what was really needed was an ASX announcement outlining why the delay, and what the expected ETA of the funds actually was.
At least that way, all in the market are equally informed and guesswork, jumping to the wrong (negative) conclusion etc. don't factor into the equation.
I'm at a bit of a loss as to why this is yet to happen.
