I had personally questioned what might happen politically due to this Djokovic situation but I eventually arrived at the conclusion that it's likely to have very little (if any) bearing on BMM and/or RIO.

I think it's easy to get swept up in an issue when the media run it as their headline every day for a few weeks.

I think you'll find no one will even remember this Djokovic scenario by the end of the week. The media will move onto the next issue (no doubt Covid related), and so will the Australian government (and I'm sure the Serbs as well).

For the record I think the treatment of Djokovic is absolutely disgusting and has set an unbelievably dangerous precedent.
