Great read.
It is so frustrating when new technologies like vanadium based batteries are discovered and how it's developement is held back through patents that no doubt have been bought by big multi-nationals that realise the potential early for impact to their current products.
So what do they do? Slap a patent on it and let it sit and rot for 20years. 1987 was when this technology was discovered, yet only in 2007 when the patents expired has the developement really kicked in. And now 4 years on it's starting to blossom. Imagine where the clean energy market would be today if those patents weren't in place.
Anyway how much vanadium is potentially at Balla Balla?
