In 1987 the XAO achieved 2300+ and DJIA 2700+. Compare them now !
Yes, a better comparison would include dividends as Australian stocks pay much bigger ones.
I do think we under-perform the US in the rest of this bull market.
It isn't always the case.
When US markets peaked in 2000, Aussie markets moved ahead into 2002.
That can happen again at some point.
