Felix Resources own a 100% interest in the Ballymoney, Northern Ireland, Lignite prospect. This was held by the Northern Ireland Government in November 2005, for three years. As the price of lignite rises and Northern Ireland are struggling on power supply, this project could again be of interest. Dr Ian Paisley and his son Ian were strongly against the project and forced its two year delay. Since then both have resigned, one for reason of old age and the other due to business dealing problems. Now the matter looks as if it could be on again later this year. It's by no means certain whether Felix will pick it up again and may be interested in selling or floating off the project.
