...forgot to mention that I think that, today in order for the market not to sell off, the announcment would need to say something along the lines of the following:
"Oil shows were observed. In fact, in analysising the oil shows it was ascertained that the oil had formed within pre-packaged natural barrels. The barrels were made of gold. Gas was also found, with a pipeline that had also formed naturally and which needed only a further two metre length of pipe to connect it into the major pipeline servicing the area. The pipeline was made of silver. A chest containing $400M in cash was also found."
