The global financial crisis is beginning to affect number of shipments passing through the Suez Canal, Chairman of Suez Canal Authority (SCA) Ahmed Fadil said Tuesday.
"The global slow down caused a considerable drop in trade volume between exporters and consumers, and fluctuation in oil prices also has a negative impact," Egypt's Al-Ahram daily cited the Egyptian official as saying.//
