The chinese (in general) have been putting off negotiations. Despite recent increases in the iron ore spot prices and the BDI - there are rumours that the chinese are stockpiling again just in time to sign on the bottom line. Truth is no one knows when these contract will be signed. My pick is sometime June / july. NTW i think the contract price will drop significantly..but this to a certain extent has already been factored into the markets.
