it is same as ricky ponting going to watch an afl game.. and he likes the joys the fans at that match seem to have more then the fans at his cricket matches? so.. next week he brings 2000 cricket fans to afl match.. they all get hypo.. couple of weeks later.. ponting and his fan base seek to change the name of cricket to afl? cos they want to FEEL the same as the buzz at the afl match?
im am not homophobic, in fact spent many years working at surry hills sydney and bars and clubs there. seen all and sundry in that regard, and also partied up there with the best of the lesbian and gay community.
if 2 girls with pink and purple hair wana skip down street and hold hands good for them. if 2 blokes wana dress up in leathers and do same good for them. or even if they wish to just act generic such as standard suit tie hand holders , good for them.
but the activity of such is in fact different.. all 3 of those unions are representative of different activities relative to their sexual premises.
therefore the term for each activity type should have a different label.

ricky ponting is human, gary ablett is also human, but cricket is cricket and afl is afl. let each to their own go to cricket games or afl ones. but the terms for the type of sport it actually is must be respected?
