Male and females get "married" as a commitment and security for children as nature intended.
Some male and female have a recognized "defacto " relationship.They are happy with "defacto"
When two people of the same sex want a commitment from one another,fine, sign a contract of intent to one another and called it something else than "marriage" to identify what the relationship is.If you want to be different,then have a different terminology for your relationship.
Surely they would want a different and personal name for their relationship? Why copy and old one from a different relationship?
Maybe we could start a competition for a groovy original name for their commitment.
How about "dink", Double Income No Kids,as they are called now.
