In defeating this motion he will lose absolute control of the company and gets the message loud and clear that his days are numbered. Giving him the ability to control in excess of 10 per cent of the stock takes any takeover interest out of play on the stock and further depresses the share price.

Rowsthorn did this deal with his white knight insto mates only on the proviso that he got to join in on the joke and pluck massive dollars out of the pockets of the existing retail investors.
