Banning single use plastic bags is useless. I use them in the rubbish bin after shopping. If I didn't have them, I'd just buy new rubbish bin liners.

These bags are much thinner than the traditional GLAD type used.

I would however support a law that enforces all such bags to be biodegradable, and providers can just whack on 5c to the checkout bill.
