Ban the young from social networks

There is a petition around at the moment to bring in a ban on young people being allowed to use social platforms

There is a major tendency these days to make things illegal if there are any problems
No one ever talks about fixing the problems due to a few who abuse the sysytems

I know that it is easier to bring in blanket bans rather than go through the tedious rigmarole of re-education but is it not just being lazy and penalizing all those who do act responsibly

Also IMHO it would be impossible to police or be effective
