the fruit/veg markets in subiaco are run by Vietnamese I think. Its pretty funny when you see a asian woman haggling prices at the checkout
the prices are about half of woolies next door and the quality much better
right now persimmons/fuyu are in season. I think woolies charge about $1.50 each. at the market you can get the seconds (which are no different to the best ones) for $2 a kilo
I buy about 4 kilos, the season is very short and they are so much better than bananas
