Your experience and mine are almost identical, although my exposure was only about half as much as yours, it was, and still is, a significant chunk of my assets. Last years HDRO meltdown has also made me wary of the HDRWMAs. This year I am sticking to the straight shares. Call me boring. There is enough risk in HDR without magnifing it.

You've been holding HDR since 99, I've been an investor since 98 and it's been a long fun ride. Do you remember the days when months would go by with no announcements and it seemed nothing was ever going to happen in Mauritania? In the next couple of months we should see our long term faith vindicated. I've always had a good feeling about this stock, backed up with a lot of research. If Banda comes in we'll have to get together for a drink or two....
