To be given 17,000 credit with no income and 200 in bank sounds extraordinary to me.

listing i had no income, sounds to me that you applied for credit.

By applying there was expectation of approval , which was obtained.

By defaulting you did not meet your own obligations.


The reason it is attached to your 'record' is to warn other lenders that you are a potential defaulter.

To expunge it removes that warning , and may carry liabilities for that party.
