Hi All,
Just thinking that if a takeover were to occur, I don't think the competition reg's would allow AWB to do it, as they already hold Landmark, Elder's main competitor. Wesfarmers sold their stake in Landmark a little while back. I could be wrong, but I don't think it would be allowed.
So with that in mind, what other groups would buy the stake?
Would Wesfarmers want to get back into rural murchandise? Maybe IPL?
Just some thoughts seeing as the topic has been raised. Mop.
