    Just my take on this but I believe that is spot on chookiewookie. I mentioned earlier that my only explanation for the USD weakness was a correlation breakdown. I noticed that breakdown in Gold and the Yen respectively.

    I think what you posted is a plausible explanation for it although I think there is still one other element to the equation in my opinion.
