my relatives in the U.K. aren't really aware of BNPL. imo this is a young but fast growing and much needed budgeting tool for families. I was a kid when layby was popular and credit cards were new ie very little household debt and people had patience. SPT is a modern use of layby. the world is yet to wake up to it. Visa and MC will not go out of business and will do whatever it takes to stay relevant.
