I had exactly the same happen to my personal and company account after banking with CBA only for 58 years, I got my lawyers to send letters on 3 occasions and they kept saying that it was a "Commercial decision"made by Head Office in Sydney and that I had 28 days to clear out my accounts, which were in credit with no loans. I now bank with 4 different banks, 2 are big 4 and the other 2 are Community banks and CBA can stick it as my wife will be withdrawing all her term deposit funds when they mature in November......they can go and get stuffed as far as I am concerned, they are treating their clients and their staff like shite and that's the new world banking future unfortunately. Sad days ahead with this sort of attitude toward customers.....they must have a bigger masterplan coming once all their New World govt players show their hand of how they want the Newfinancial World model to work.
