Exactly right, It amazes me how much faith people put in these figures, these figures only tell a story that they want told. To get a true story you actually have to do your own research. Or at least find people who don't make any gains by fudging the numbers. A couple of weeks ago I did the shopping for my family, spent nearly $400, it wasn't a big shop and didn't get cleaning products or alcohol etc. Our usual shop is mid $200 to $300. Inflation in basic cost of living is there to be seen, we just have to look.
