Aren't we in top gear already? Last week the BOJ couldn't find another gear on their 3.3Trillion Yen/annum ETF machine.
Japan's 80Trillion Yen/year bond buying program is not moving the needle on GDP growth and in China they need to print $6 to produce $1 of GDP (not a very good return in anyone's language). Central banks are losing control....... let's see if the reverse gear works better than the forward gears..........try NIRP and put the foot on the accelerator. You don't need a Phd in economics to know how that will end. Ask a 3 year old..........give me 5 of your lollies and I'll give you 4 in return ........that always ends in tears. Those tears are baked into our society from early ages and no matter how hard central bankers try to impose this new order onto the system it won't work because we are all babies when it comes to thinking about "what is ours".
