Seems reasonable to me. The alternative is to continue down the road to complete pension oblivion, like most States are heading for in the US.
Front loading contributions for future years by $9bn, cutting pensions of executives specifically, offering payouts to others; maybe too little too late, and yes, the company is a dog, but with the dividend at one cent and no bonuses for anyone (except in the one profitable division) it doesn’t seem like corporate greed.
