hmmmmm some interesting moves.

No second guessing who has been selling since 5/11/07
Merrill Lynch offloaded 4M
ANZ Nom's 200K
Murdoch 400K
Traders Warnecke down 300K as were Citicorp and Capita IRG

now, on the buying front was
HSBC (no 1 holder) with 1.6M
National Noms took up 5.2M
Bow Lane made a lame attempt and picked up 50K lol

in all, no real change at the top in terms of total holdings but obviously some shuffling of the deck chairs. Over 78% held by the top 20 and more importantly, the top 10 hold over 73%

They are still holding the shares they mopped up which accounts for 6.5M of the top 20 so it will be interesting to see what they do with them - offmarket to a player? orderly sale into depth? who knows.

grrrrrr what a time for them to move to quarterly updates!! the monthly ones revealed a lot more ... like it would have revealed the buying late last week! :)

the sp has held up after the little flurry so there may be more to it?
