I went to the bank the other day to deposit a cheque into a contractor's account.

"which bank" you ask?

Yes, that bank otherwise known as "which bank".

I tried to sneak past the concierge while she was talking to another customer, but she intercepted me in the queue for the teller.

Bugger!

Then she cajoles me into filling in a deposit slip to use the drop-an-go envelope system.

Double bugger!

That's the second time this has happened when I've made a deposit at "which bank" and it's giving me the @@@@'s.

I want face-to-face counter service when I go into a bank. I don't want to be crash-tackled by these rotten concierges who seem to be on a mission to keep you away from the tellers at all costs.

Thank heavens I'm not a customer of the "happy banking" subsidiary. They seem to be getting foreclosure notices on business loans with monotonous regularity. Happy banking indeed from "which bank"
