In March 2024, NAL achieved a record monthly production of 15,699 dry metric tonnes, a 13% increase on the previous monthlyproduction record observed in December 2023. NAL achieved multiple daily production records of spodumene concentrate in March between 710 – 750 dry metric tonnes per day.
The ability to build crushed ore inventory between the crusher and mill from the new refeed system improved plant utilisation and ore processed tonnages, with plant utilisation averaging 78% in February and March post commissioning of the refeed system.
710tpd is over nameplate , grades have improved as have recoveries and that was all 3 months ago. Its really just about minimizing unplanned shutdowns downs and that's been worked on for another 3 months, winter is over and the ROM is well stocked the upcoming quarterly will be interesting.
