out of all this subprime debacle, the only sure thing is that bank profits are going to fall. They will tighten their lending standards and thus lend less. less profit down the track. On Monday, my guess the Oz investor will follow their usual pattern in assuming that the banks are a safe haven. This is a mistake imo.
