The only outgoings that the bank has are its standing overheads and the interest they pay on the deposits
BUT as 90% of the money they lend does not exist
IE it is a entry on the computer,
IE it is money they print.
IE it is just a credit they invent from the air
Their profits are much higher than a normal business which has to pay for goods to sell and can't invent them from nothing
In this modern world there appears to be more and more "Goods to sell" which are invented from nothing
